Designed by Paola Navone for Serax — an Italian architect and designer who approaches her work with the mindset of an anthropologist and a disregard for convention. The Fish & Fish collection grew out of her travels in the United States and a study of the American pressed utility glassware of the Great Depression, which she translates into something playful and quietly contemporary. The silhouette — a Baltic herring — was inspired by a book on glass fish imagery by Daniel Rozensztroch and Cathie Findler.
Available in green and blue, both calm, everyday colourways. The carafe works naturally for water, juice, or wine, and moves comfortably between roles — a table piece that doubles as a vase when the moment calls for it.
