Designed by Portuguese artist Bela Silva for Serax, the Eternal Snow collection draws on a childhood memory — the small glass snow globes she found enchanting as a girl, and the shimmering colours of the night sky at around four in the morning, when they take on the soft quality of the northern lights. She set out to capture that feeling in glass and bring it to the table.
Each glass is blown into a gently atypical form — a wide bowl on a rounded stem, with small bubbles suspended in the base that introduce subtle movement. Available in two colourways. Smoky Grey has a neutral, architectural presence. Green reads slightly warmer, catching light more softly.
