Designed for David Mellor by Corin Mellor, the Classic range reflects a double inheritance — the robust purism of English 18th‑century glassware, and the quieter confidence of mid‑20th‑century Scandinavian design. Each piece is individually mouth‑blown into wooden moulds by skilled glassmasters at a European glassworks with over 130 years of tradition, in lead‑free crystal of superior clarity.
The wine glass is shaped with balanced proportions — the bowl sitting cleanly on a slender stem, the weight considered for comfortable drinking throughout a meal. The medium is well suited to everyday wine; the large holds its own with fuller reds and slower dinners.
